At 16 weeks, we began getting progesterone shots, which should help keep Peanut 2.0 snug and warm until at least 36 weeks. We are doing so because Liam decided to make a surprise appearance at 35 1/2 weeks through true pre-term labor. They don't hurt (much) and there hasn't been any side effects. We are comfortable with this extra measure for several reasons - 1. the health of our newest son and 2. Joe isn't due back until mid march (6 weeks before my due date). They are monitoring and making sure all is well.
