Joe and I have had these great friends since August 4, 2005 - Rae and Wes Leytham (our awesome wedding photographers). We kept in touch through the years by "blog-stalking" and finally have been able to mesh our locations and schedules together to hang out. Wes asked us to attempt to sail with him...be his "crew." We went out a few times before we voyaged out in a Regatta. Matt, Joe and I made up our Skipper's crew on Zoom during the Big Mouth Regatta out of Pensacola Beach Yacht Club this past Saturday. We had a BLAST. Things still aren't second nature on the boat for us, but we had a great time. Even better, we came in 2nd in our class and 6th overall - go Zoom!
