A, J & F - Almost There

Whew - it's just a shame there is not a bridge over the Gulf of Mexico from Corpus Christi to Tampa. Joe out-processed from NAS CC on Monday morning, while Foster and I finished all the last minute cleaning. We loaded the cars and took off around 2pm. We were able to stop and spend three hours with our Aunt, Uncle and cousins in Houston, before stopping for the night in Lafayette, LA. We had a little less than half the trip complete.

We then woke up at 6am and drove to Hurlburt Field - to drop off the truck. We took a short tour of the town...the old memories came flooding back. The three of us, finally in the same vehicle, drove to Tampa to spend time with mom and dad Schlosser and attend Adam's wedding.

The trip was 1218 miles and 19 hours in the car! It has been non-stop since we got here - visiting with friends, running errands, chilling by the pool, going out on the boat, etc. We are having a great time, but are getting anxious to head back up to FWB to house-hunt.
