A & J - Career Day at Columbus

This weekend, Joe's wing held a career day for all the flight school students and their spouses. We started by hearing from pilots of some of the airframes that flew in - daily routine, typical deployments, missions, etc. It was all very interesting and helped me understand why Joe would prefer some aircraft over others. We talked about what his "choice" list would look like and we both agree: 1st is A-10, 2nd is F-15 (either model) and 3rd is C-130. The process is set up where he will make his dream list and then they will take many things into consideration before track select and assignment night (his academic scores, his ability to fly the T-6, the flight commander's rating, and most importantly - what the AF needs). The process is long, but he's doing great so far and I'm enjoying learning all about the planes!
